Cortijo Juan Salvador (both houses)

Cortijo Juan Salvador is a 200 years old, lovingly restored wine estate (lagar), which belongs to Jeroen & Sandra including kids. Jeroen& Sandra and their daughters Isis, Lotus, Charlotte and Saartje including the dog Soy (Maltipoo) took over the well known and preserved Cortijo in the beginning of July 2025 and started to transform the beautifull location in a serene boho/ibiza style holiday rental with all its unique and old caracters. Our family lives on the estate and we are more then happy to provide you with special extra services and tips about the Malaga area. Sandra has always been into cooking with roots in the hotelschool of Maastricht and experiences in Tilburg in different restaurants.She will be preparing as chef the dinner and breakfasts for our guests. With the use of many organic ingredients farmed on own land she will try to give you an unforgettable experience including some (local) wines from around the area to give you the maximum dinner experience in a daily unique setting. 

On the estate, which spreads out over 6.5 acres of land filled with almond-, olive-, and fruit trees, you will find the beautifull farmhouse Cortijo Juan Salvador. Divided into two houses, it accommodates 12 persons comfortably. House La Higuera has three bedrooms, 2 private terraces, a large open dining kitchen and two bathrooms with a bath. House El Almendro has three bedrooms, a huge patio with a covered veranda, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living with a fireplace.

The cortijo is surrounded by various delightful spots; a vegetable- and herb garden, a shaded hammock under an old fir tree, a little plunge pool with loungers in the sun. A big infinity pool of 14 meters long outfitted with a big porch with a fully equiped kitchen and Greenegg barbeque. Around the cortijo you can find many seating areas, where guests can appreciate the unique views of the vast, tranquil landscape. In short; a scenic and cozy rental, where you can enjoy the many extra’s that we offers our guests. This is a fine home base for exploring the diversity of Andalusia. And after a long day of sightseeing, you can return to your own holiday home to a tastefully prepared dinner under a starlit sky. All year round you will experience the unique place and surroundings of the montes de Malaga. A unique hidden location which will give you all privacy and rest needed. Ideal for groups, foodies, yoga, managementteams, businesses, coaching groups or individuals, families, celebrations, marriages, events, photoshoots, moviescenes etc.
