About us: We are a small family business located in a hidden valley of the Montes de Málaga with all of the peace and tranquility of deep nature, yet only 25 minutes from the Mediterranean and 30 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Malaga. As a family outfit, we relish in getting to know our guests and offer concierge service as standard. We are proud to offer such personalized attention and superior culinary services. With our intimate local knowledge, we can ensure a pleasant and fulfilling exploration of the ‘real Spain,’ though those preferring to stay close can enjoy miles of hiking trails around the property or simply relax by the pool.
The final result of the renovations is a flexible structure allowing private lodging for six guests (1 house), or combined 12 guests (2 houses) or 1-4 guests (3th house) for groups of up to sixteen guests total. We have maintained the rustic character of the old Cortijo, and the traditional Andalusia courtyard is as cozy and inviting as the surrounding gardens.
We carefully conserve our water, sourced from a well and stored in a reservoir tank, though the supply is sufficient for liberal use by guests. Additionally, kitchen waste is composted, while paper and cardboard, glass and plastic are recycled to minimize landfill.
Cortijo Juan Salvador is a characterful and historic old farmstead newly renovated to offer luxurious accommodation for up to 16 people (1 more possible on request) in three separate but connected houses, each with private entrance and terraces. In total there are 7 double bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, 3 large kitchens, 3 living/dining rooms and separate relax/TV room, 3 balcony terraces, and a massive open courtyard.
In 2 of the bedrooms, we can put an extra bed; for the little ones, we have baby beds at your disposal.
You can find three outdoor showers, one on the back terrace of La Higuera and 2 others in the courtyard connected with the 2 pool locations.
For the pool, you have two options, the little plunge pool the perfect place to relax and read, and the infinity pool great for parties and barbeque and not to forget your morning swim exercise or watching the beautifull sunsets.
Additional services are available, including massage, guided tours, babysitting, and airport pick-ups. Full private concierge service is also available, though the owners provide a high level of personal attention as standard.
